123.ie was founded back in 2002, and since then it has grown into one of Ireland's leading insurance companies. It was acquired by RSA in 2010, so has the added benefit of having the experience of one of the world’s largest insurance companies behind them.

Among other things, their comprehensive policies include driving other car extensions, fire brigade charges, replacement locks, 24 hour breakdown assistance (365 days a year), new car replacement, windscreen replacement, windscreen repair, medical expenses, personal effects and personal accident.

Their third party, fire and theft policy also includes the 24 hour breakdown assistance, "step back" no claim bonus protection, driving other cars extension, fire brigade charges, replacement locks and new car replacement, among other features.

Do bear in mind that they will not offer quotes for foreign diving licences - only Irish/UK driving licences and EC driving licences are accepted. They may not be able to offer a quote if you have any convictions or have more than 4 penalty points on your licence.
