Analysts at Barclays Bank are warning that things are moving fast but they don’t believe that the outcome of the developments in the Greek financial system will have long term ramifications for the prospects for European equities.

Dominic Rossi, Fidelity’s Chief Investment Officer, concurs with the analysts at Barclays. The belief in his firm is that European markets won’t be too badly affected if Greece exits the Euro. Rossi argues that investors have more localised issues to deal with such as a proposed Federal rate increase in the US.
