Stay covered with Marks & Spencer premium insurance for your car

As has become the trend in recent years, Marks & Spencer have moved into the financial market to now offer a range of insurance, loans, credit cards and investments to their customers, just like Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda before them.

The question on everyone's lips is how does Marks & Spencer insurance for your car measure up against not only the other high street stores offering car insurance, but also against the more established financial institutions in the United Kingdom? Let's take a look at what is offered with premium car insurance.

The premium cover comes with a range of extras worth as much as £366. Included in that you'll get Breakdown Cover which is provided by the RAC and covers both UK and European based assistance. This breakdown cover does not cover the vehicle itself, but you instead, meaning if you are travelling as passenger in another car you'll be able to utilise it. You'll also get home breakdown assistance, onwards travel assistance and roadside recovery included.

You'll also get legal protection for up to £100,000 per year, valued at £23. This will cover you for any losses that arise from your claims, such as voluntary excess costs.

Should your car be rendered out of action for a short period of time, you'll be entitled to the use of a hire car for up to 14 days courtesy of Marks and Spencer car insurance. You'll also be able to use this hire car should your car be written off or stolen, giving you time to sort out your insurance claim and get a replacement without worrying about getting from A to B.

With the key cover, you'll be entitled to use Keycare's 24 hour national helpline and key recovery service as well as being covered for up to £1,000 towards the cost of new keys or locks.

And finally you'll also be covered for up to £200 against loss of personal belongings, and if you've got a Marks & Spencer card you'll earn yourself 1,000 points simply by signing up.
